Payments received, thank you! Buses are being filled up... Who else is missing?
Please reply asap with payments via "paypal" or international bank transfer. In 3 weeks time (latest dealine...) we'll have to book the buses: so it is better to know in advance what we have and how many buses will be needed.

I've looked throught this topic and I just want to ask the "adress" of the beach, or the name of it.
For those who are going in his own car (option 1) or want to go own their own rather than booking a seat on the bus, should known where to go, shouldn't they?
Also, is there any option, like some kinda of "an inter-city official bus" from Lisboa, to catch it up and get off near the beach?
Thanks for the info!
PD: Is much further from Lisboa? You say about 25€ on taxi but I don't make my mind clear about how many kms. could be that. |

PD: Is much further from Lisboa? You say about 25€ on taxi but I don't make my mind clear about how many kms. could be that. Name of the beach is "Praia do Rei" [King's Beach]. The venue there is called (cof! cof") "Hula Hula Bar".
Distance to Lisbon city centre is about 25 km to the South. There are no direct buses to this place. Even though is close enough to Lisbon, it is almost a complete wilderness in there! Polina, GPP Girlz and CyberPagan already know how it looks like!!!
We have tried to arrange the best and cheapest sollution. With public transportation you would need about 90 minutes each way and in case everything goes right.
The one needs at least 3 different transports + a walk of 1,5 km in the middle of nowhere and without lights, except the moonlight and the stars.
Taxi is of course the quickest option, but quite expensive IMHO. Like in many places abroad I've been to, taxi drivers always try to take the most of tourists who do not know the right directions.
More questions? Just PM me or write them in here!... |

dead_in_vienna wrote: well, we arrive 5 minutes to midnight on wednesday... so how should we go to the beach from the airport? i guess we'll have to take a taxi, what might that approximately cost?
or should we drop our stuff in the hotel first and then go there? as if you could take that decision for me... I have to ask some known taxi drivers how much it might cost.
How many are you? 3 or 4? Is your luggage big or not that much? If it is not that heavy, maybe you can proceed directly to the party and then get into your sleeping place the day after. Where are you staying? How you'll get the key for the apartment?
We keep in touch, thus trying to find the best sollution for you all! |

i have to pick up the key somewhere, staying in an appartment Rua da Mãe de Água.... We'll find a safe place at "Hula Hula Bar" for you to keep the luggage.
What is worrying me is the time you've to get the key for the apartment. Please ask them if there will be someone early in the morning the next day. |

Thanks for the answer, but I want to ask you one more question. I'm thinking on the taxi option, so on the way to the beach there wouldn't be any trouble in picking up one cause we're in the city, but, what about on the way back?
I mean, as you said the beach is a bit far from the road (1,5km) I hardly suppose there would some troubles in the night to pick up one back to the city, however, what about in the Thursday's morning from when the sun rises up? Would be much problems too? |

Would be much problems too? I reckon it is a matter of asking at the venue ("Hula Hula Bar") to call a taxi whenever you want to go back to Lisbon.
Please send me a PM with your email address. I'll scan an official taxi receipt for you, just in case they charge you a lot of money.
The official receipt should contain the taxi's plate, as well as the identification of the taxi company and a phone number for contact. With this data we can call them and ask for an explanation if something goes wrong. |

Just updated the info in the original post about transportation on Wednesday and Thursday.
Because of the venue change for Thursday is a bit of the surprise for every one and this extra bus registration and cost for another day is also a surprise we are doing something special for the bus ride over.
We will start the party early and will have some traditional Sangria for free on the bus on Thursday for every one
