Just got to LA where my partner Pamela is at the moment. In the next week I hope to update everything, get all the sponsors up, at least 1/2 of the line up, and start working on other activities during the festival.
Loads of great stuff already planed and with your help we will make this a best part of the year for every one! |

I have parted ways with provacator and Pam from bat country booking. Although this does mean that we will do the whole festival in Rock Caffe only Thursday to Sunday and some psychobilly and Horror band will be canceled, most of the line up will stay the same, we will have about 8 or more bands every night, all the DJ's and extra planed activity. basically instead of 2 venues one large one small with 6 bands in the big one and 5 in the small one w will have more bands in the big one.
I might even book a few more bands now too
So Wednesday we will still have Gothic Pogo Party hosted Halloween Bash
Thursday - Sunday we are in Rock Cafe |

last i spoke to them the drummer left and they weren't together anymore. we have a large feature with an interview on them in the new magazine though that will premier at drop dead .
But every time a band has told me they weren't able to play i think i got a really good substitute that every one will enjoy |

So few months ago we reserved everything (travel, hostel, ticket) and now there is "just" 25 bands announced... that' a little bit disappointing...
I know that we'll enjoy the festival, but without Psycho bands (except the excellent Curtains but without slap basse, and a unknown polish band...), that's not the same thing... |

Drop Dead is not a strictly Psycho festival. if you want that there is many bigger festivals in Europe for that Like the excellent Calea for example.
Initially we had to clubs and more bands, but things change with big festivals like this and we make the best of it.
If your coming to Drop Dead at all its because its the biggest Gothic Punk Festival that gathers people who are really in love with this music from all overthe wourld
The festival also features that also hosts psycho, horror punk, deathrock, new wave, art punk, punk and so forth ofcourse.
I think there is still a great diversity represented and the festival will still be a really great experience for every one. |

I know that it's not a Psycho festival, but there is a topic called "Psychobilly, Gothabilly, Horror Surf + Punk at the Festival"...
And a lot a Psycho and Horror bands are cancelled... (I know the story and problems... but I can be disappointed... and I'm not the only one...) |

Oh come on. It's the first time ever in Europe, of course there's gonna be troubles and unexpected misfortunes. Show some graditude instead... I wouldn't dream of ever being so rude at someone who only tries their best to entertain you.
Come on.. it's not the whole world. |

Fantastic music, many great bands at one place, scary fiends, beer, many beers, some bullshit talks... That's all I need...
I never expected that I'll be able to see gigs of some of this bands playing on DDF...
...and now I know that everything is possible, if not this year so maybe on next... |

Hello,
This is just a friendly reminder for all travelers from the US to Europe to please take note of the TSA's new restrictions and regulations on carry on baggage, including their 3-1-1 rule for personal items. More information can be found here.

I would like to know if there will be a cloakroom in the Rock Cafe.
because if it's frozen outside, and if we're obliged to wear winter clothes, it would be great to have the possibility to put it in the cloakroom during the concerts... |
