The Slits- Legendary UK Punk Band 1976 - 1981 Slits were the first all-girl UK band of any consequence. They started it all and influenced a generation of bands after them. Mothers of Riot girl and DIY attitude (barely teenagers at the time) they were loud, exciting, full of attitude, fun and impossible to ignore. Slits plaid with their fellow UK rockers like Sex Pistols and opened for Clash on the "White Riot " tour. Ari-Up(lead singer) and the Slits raw energy and charisma were captured on a documentary film called "The Punk Rock Movie" ). Slits debut album CUT is a classic and still remains fresh and current today, a testament of Slits being years ahead of their time. Famous for their life show girls threw it down with the best of them. This rare Opportunity to see Ari-Up play life is absolutely not to be missed!!!
